The knockout games of the ICC Champions Trophy have concluded and now, the semi-finals are scheduled to happen on June 14 and 15. Twelve games were played in the first round with several games got washed off due to rain while the few games towards the end were the must wins for both the teams. After fighting hard and putting all their efforts, 4 teams have reached semi-finals and they are—England, Bangladesh, India and Pakistan. And now, ahead of the semi-finals, the only obstacle which could surmount the tournament is the rain.
On June 14, England (1st semi-finalists from Group A) will play Pakistan (2nd semifinalists from Group B) in the first semi-finals at Sophia Gardens in Cardiff. The English side has been carrying the best of their forms so far in this tournament and it seems the next game against Pakistan would not be that tough. But if the rain hampers the play and in case the game gets abandoned, then England will directly qualify for the finals.
While on June 15, India (1st semi-finalists from Group B) will take on Bangladesh (2nd semifinalists from Group A) at Edgbaston. And on that day, if rain plays the role of villain, the rule will be followed as mentioned above. India will directly enter into the finals.

both England and India are the table toppers of their respective groups. England has 6 points in their account as they have won all the three games. Their net run rate is +1.045. While India has 4 points after winning two out of three games with a net run rate +1.370 and are the toppers of the Group B points table.
The final is scheduled to be played on June 18 at the Oval. But ahead of that big face-off, we have to wait for the semis to commence and expect that the drizzles should not spoil any of the games.
