Ben Cutting was expensive but Rashid Khan was the star with the ball, he gave away just 29 runs and picked up the important wicket of Gautam Gambhir. Manish Pandey scored 45 of 38 balls but just when he was looking to up the ante, he departed. Bhuvneshwar Kumar picked up three wickets, but in his last over Yusuf Pathan really took on Kumar, hit him for a six. Colin Grandhomme was cleaned up by Bhuvi in the last over for a duck.
