You must have seen the photograph which went viral as Virat Kohli trolled Ravindra Jadeja for his ’70’s anchor’ look in the game between Gujarat Lions and Royal Challengers Bangalore. Jadeja flaunted his beard on his Twitter account on April 18 with the caption saying, “Change the game on the field. Change the look in the dressing room”. The video had song ‘Starboy’ playing in the background. After much trolling, we did not expect that the ‘beard game’ will carry on but this happened now!
The first one to challenge Jadeja was Mumbai Indians’ all-rounder, Hardik Pandya who posted a video of himself in a similar manner.

He took to his Instagram account and posted, “Jaddu (Jadeja), this one’s for you. We got no dressing room confusions here now.” Pandya is surely the new kid on the block who has taken the cricketer’s fashion world by storm with his active Instagram account.

MI skipper Rohit Sharma too did not back off of the #breakthebeard challenge as he might have had a FOMO (fear of missing out) feeling. He unveiled his new look with Coldplay and Chainsmokers’ song ‘Something like this’. He too took to his Instagram account and posted his video with a caption, “Decided to finally have a summer style of my own. My time to #breakthebeard.”
