Hailing from Kolkata, Archana Vijay is now become a household name. Born in 1982, she has climbed the ladder in a big way. Started out as a model to becoming a presenter is a long journey. Today, she is one of the most renowned anchors in the country. Her career actually sparked off on a reality show ‘Get Gorgeous’ which was held in 2004, and from there on in there was no looking back for this Kolkata girl. This show opened up opportunities for her and soon she became a Radio Jockey.
Her first brush with Indian Premier League came in the fifth season of the cricketing extravaganza in Cinemax TV. The multi-faceted girl is also a phenomenal dancer and she proved all of that during a famous dance show, ‘Jhalak Dikhla Jaa’. In the past, she also worked with Neo Sports and Channel V. Thereafter she was seen in several modelling shows such as ‘Rome Fashion Week’ and post that in fashion shows at Milan, Singapore and France. Archana has also modelled for ICICI bank, Sula Fest, Sun Microsystems, Cipla, LG circuit and Samsung Mobiles.
