Welcome to inUth’s coverage of Indian Premier League (IPL) 10’s Match 13 between Gujrat Lions (GL) and Rising Pune Supergiants (RPS). The big news for today is the all-rounder and star player Ravindra Jadeja making a comeback in the side after GL’s poor run in their first two matches. RPS too are looking to get back on track. Both the teams are currently on the bottom of the IPL standings. They will be looking to rejuvenate themselves in this match.
Bowling has been a big question mark for GL. They might be looking to give one of the overseas batsmen a rest and probably fill their berth with an overseas player who can pick wickets upfront. GL bowling lineup have just taken 1 wickets in 2 matches. They might include Australian all-rounder James Faulkner in the side.
Steven Smith is expected to make a comeback into the side after he suffered from a bad stomach in the previous game. Without him, the side was not able to score runs at a decent rate and ended up posting a lowly score. MS Dhoni’s form in the IPL 10 has been under the scanner as well as he has not been able to justify the ‘finisher’ tag.
Dwayne Bravo’s availability is a question mark as well, he was one of the finest bowlers in the previous season, GL needs him by his side as soon as possible. RPS have had one consistent right through from the start and that is Imran Tahir, who has been able to take wickets every time he has been introduced into the attack.
