Gautam Gambhir and Co., after losing the toss, came into bat first and with the help pf Robin Uthappa’s 50, a fighting total of 172 runs was put on board. To chase the target of 173, the opening pair of Hyderabad, skipper David Warner and Shikhar Dhawan, came into bat. After Hooda’s dismissal, all the responsibilities to chase the target came on Yuvi’s shoulders and the way his bat yelled those humungous shots, was simply phenomenal. He hit 2 fours and 2 huge sixes and scored 26 runs off just 16 balls. But Yuvi’s batting sting was not much long like the first game and he was dismissed, Chris Woakes while going for another big shot.
Five wickets had already fallen and the rest of the batting line-up was trying their best to take the team close to the victory. But the tail-enders of Hyderabad failed terribly and the SRH lost the game by 17 runs. This is the second consecutive game lost by the SRH in this season of IPL.
