Game number 4 at the Holkar Stadium in Indore of the Indian Premier League (IPL) season 10 between the Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) and Rising Pune Supergiant (RPS) ended dramatically where Punjab defeated Pune by 6 wickets. Punjab skipper Glenn Maxwell along with David Miller did it all after the team was reduced to 85-4. Like the previous seasons, it was completely a Miller-Maxwell Show which took their team to the victory. Maxwell was also declared as the Man of the Match for his terrific knock of 44 runs.
Earlier, Kings XI Punjab won the toss and elected to bowl first. Pune did not get off to a good start lost early wickets. Mayank Agarwal departed with the score at 0, the ball kept a touch low. Ajinkya Rahane got off to a start but could not carry on as he fell for 19. Smith could not score big like we are used to seeing him, he departed for 26. Finally, the Rs 14.5 crore man finally showed value for his worth getting a well made 50. He hit 2 fours and 3 sixes and scored a quick fifty in just 32 balls. He could have converted his inning into a bigger one but unfortunately, he caught nd bold by Axar Patel in the 18th over. A score of 163 should not be a lot for the Kings XI Punjab, on a fairly good wicket.
