The first hat-trick of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 10 has been taken by the Carribean man Samuel Badree. Dismissing three top batsmen of the Mumbai Indians, Royal Challengers Bangalore spinner Badree reached this feat in the third over during the powerplay. Mumbai Indians were set to chase 143 runs in 20 overs while they lost their first wicket in the second over in the form of Jose Buttler who could score just 2 runs.

The Mumbai Paltan was 136 runs behind when skipper Virat Kohli deployed the West Indian spinner Samuel Badree. After losing a wicket in the previous over, Parthiv Patel was there to face Badree and he defended the first bowl of the over. But in the very next ball, he was dismissed as Parthiv tried to play a shot in the off side but the ball went in the air and landed in Chris Gayle’s Safe hands.

In the very next ball, it was Mitchell McClenaghan tried to hit a big one but was caught in the deep by Mandeep Singh. McClenaghan was dismissed for a duck. Next man in was skipper Rohit Sharma while Badree had the hat-trick ball. The entire scenario turned into a thriller sequence as the viewers kept their fingers crossed whether Badree will do the magic or not. Badree made the delivery and guess what, Rohit Sharma got bowled for a golden duck. Till the time Sharma could understand what has actually happened, a huge roar came from the RCB players who were celebrating the first hat-trick of this season.

Within no time, the twitter erupted with immense joy and the incomparable reactions were clearly visible on the micro-blogging site.
