Welcome to inUth’s digital coverage of Match No. 6 of Indian Premier League (IPL) 10 between defending champions Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Gujarat Lions (GL). SRH on high spirits after a comprehensive win in the IPL opener against Royal Challengers Bangalore. On the other hand, GL had a humiliating loss in the hands of Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in their first match. They are missing the services of all-rounders Ravindra Jadeja and Dwayne Bravo.
Whereas Bravo might be fit to play in this important clash, Jadeja is sure to miss few initial matches. Without them, it will be a tough task ahead of them to stop Yuvraj Singh who seems to be in his prime form. RCB bowlers had a tough time against him, his presence on the field will be crucial in this fixture.
We might see a few changes in the GL side as they opted to go for 4 overseas batsmen in their first game with Dwayne Smith’s exception. They will be looking to bring in a few overseas bowlers who could keep the run rate down and pick up a few wickets. GL spinner Shivil Kaushik was hammered for runs in the first game, it will be interesting to witness whether he gets a berth in the side or not.

SRH has a right blend of fast bowlers, their batting and bowling has been in good form, their fielding too was spot on in the first game under skipper David Warner. GL skipper Gujarat Lions is currently the leading run scorer in IPL but he did not look his usual self in the first game. They need their star batsman Brendon McCullum, Jason Roy and Brad Hodge.

There is a chance that Australian all rounder James Faulkner might play in the side considering his ability to take wickets in crunch situations. SRH have found the perfect spinner in Afghanistan leggie Rashid Khan who proved in the first game that taking him in was one of the best choice SRH made in IPL Player Auction as he became the youngest to take a wicket in the cash-rich league.
