If there is one lad who has come to prominence from no where this season it has to be young Rishabh Pant. Rising Pune Supergiant scored a mammoth 208 when they batted first. Chasing 208, Rishabh Pant played a blinder 97 off 43 balls which was studded with 9 sixes, he was hitting them like he was possessed. This edition of the Indian Premier League truly has been a month where Indian players shone like Rahul Tripathi and Nitish Rana. Rishabh Pant is just another addition to the list but the way he played today it shows he is made for bigger things. It was Pant who saw them through in the crunch match today against Gujarat Lions. They needed to boost their chances of qualifying and they did just what the doctor ordered for, thanks to young Pant.
