This is the second of the double header Saturday, when the two big Indian metro cities clash against eachother. Delhi Daredevils have overcome the setback of the missing stars and have formed a proper nucleus and Mumbai Indians look a formidable unit, but consistency has devoid them and that has been a setback. Malinga’s inconsistency with the ball has hurt them, whereas Zaheer Khan and Amit Mishra have found the right rhythm.
The match starts at 2000 hrs in Mumbai.
The respective teams won their respective home games – Daredevils by ten runs at the Feroz Shah Kotla and Mumbai by a romping 80-run margin in Visakhapatnam, their second home.
There are still question marks hovering over Ambati Rayadu’s inclusion, but the grapevine has it that he has resumed training, he can give Mumbai Indians the neededbalance in the top order. The Pandya brothers will surely hold the key to their chances as they have shown they can be match-winners on their day.
DD will look at Sam Billings to fire big and Sanju Samson to fire again as they could hold the key at the top of the order. Iyer will also have to get the big runs.
