But one person who compelled the players to giggle during the game through her presence was Lasith Malinga’s look alike who was present in Rajkot.
It was game number 35 of IPL between the Mumbai Indians and Gujarat Lions when Lasith Malinga was back in the squad after two games. In the 15th over, Malinga came into the attack and suddenly on the screen, appeared his look-alike who was present among the crowd. The man held a banner in his hands on which it was written,”Malinga best friend.”
The duplicate man’s colour complexion was same as Malinga’s. He was wearing a blue coloured fan jersey of MI and yellow coloured cricket sunglasses. His hairstyle was also similar to Malinga’s— curly and golden highlighted. Later, the camera focused on Lasith Malinga who was bowling then. He also looked at that man through the video screen fixed on the ground and gave a smile.
