Australian player Lynn scored 93 from 41 deliveries with the help of 6 fours and 8 sixes. On the other hand, Gambhir played the role of an anchor with occasional fireworks as he scored 76 from 48 balls featuring 12 fours. GL was on the top of the IPL Standings in their debut season as they won 9 out of 14 games they played. KKR made it to the qualifiers just in time as they won 8 out of 14 matches with a net run rate enough to make it to top four.

Chris Woakes was the one overseas all-rounder KKR was hellbent to buy in IPL Player Auction 2017 instead of infamous Ben Stokes. Woakes may prove to me the best replacement for Andre Russell as he was unavailable after a two-year ban. On the other hand, England opener Jason Roy is expected to get a berth in the side, he might open alongside New Zealand fiery opener, Brendon McCullum.
Will Kuldeep Yadav make a mark?
The sensation from Dharamsala Test, young lad Kuldeep made an unforgettable debut against Australia. He will be returning in action in the shortest version of the game. He is a wicket-taking bowler and has taken 6 wickets in 3 matches in T20s so far. He can contribute down the order as well similar to Piyush Chawla. The Chinaman is almost certain to be included in the side.
Ravindra Jadeja’s absence
The No.1 Test bowler cannot be ignored in any format. His form in the recent games has proved that he could do well with both bat and ball. His absence might open the gates for KKR’s first win.
