It has just 5 days the Indian Premier league has commenced and right after the 7th game of the tournament, an ugly spat between two cricketers was seen on the micro-blogging site, Twitter. On April, after defeating the Kolkata Knight Riders by 6 wickets, the Mumbai Indians were though happy for their victory but during the game, what Sanjay Manjrekar spoke to describe Mumbai’s overseas player Kieron Pollard initiated a new controversy.
Pollard came into bat when the Mumbai Indians were reduced to 74/3 and skipper Rohit Sharma was dismissed just then. However, Pollard couldn’t do anything big and was soon dismissed for 17 runs by Chris Woakes
Chasing a target of 179, Pollard came out to bat after Rohit Sharma’s dismissal at 74/3. However, the West Indian could only add 17 runs to the MI’s chase and was dismissed by Chris Woakes.
Meanwhile, Sanjay Manjrekar, who was commentating then, said,”Pollard does not have the brains to play early in the innings.”
These remarks annoyed the big man from West Indies and he later blasted on Twitter. Pollard took to his twitter account and wrote,”@sanjaymanjrekar u feel any positive can come out of your mouth bcuz u get pay to talk u can continue with your verbal diarrhea ..”
