Mumbai Indians won the toss and going by the trend put Sunrisers Hyderabad into bat. Harbhajan Singh started off proceedings. Unexpectedly, SRH got off to a sedate start, David Warner and Shikhar Dhawan took their time earlier on but when a loose ball came, they were all over it. David Warner fell for 49 off 34 balls. Surprisingly, Deepak Hooda was promoted up the order, but he did not succeed as he departed for 9. Then Yuvraj Singh joined Shikhar Dhawan and the both of them them carried the score past 100 before Shikhar Dhawan fell short of 2 runs of 50.
Yuvraj Singh initially took his time to get settled in. Harbhajan Singh was the pick of the bowlers picking 2 wickets and conceding 23 runs in his quota of overs. Just when Yuvraj was looking to cut loose he dragged one on to his stumps. Ben Cutting then showed why his batting is spoken about highly in Australia. But his promising stay was cut short by Bumrah, Cutting departed for 15 off 7 balls. Mitchell McClenaghan was on the expensive side, he gave away 42 runs off 4 overs, but yes he picked up the solitary wicket of Shikhar Dhawan. Hardik Pandya the star from the last match, got injured in his delivery stride as he fell. Naman Ojha tried but failed.

Sunrisers Hyderabad would be feeling they fell 30 runs short, because this is a good wicket. Mumbai Indians will be chasing a tricky 159.
