Kings XI Punjab won the toss and elected to bowl first. They did not get off to a good start losing wickets early, Mayank Agarwal departed with the score at 0, the ball kept a touch low. Ajinkya Rahane got off to a start but could not carry on as he fell for 19. Smith could not score big, like we are used to seeing him, he departed for a handsome 26. The Rs 14.5 cr man finally showed value for his worth getting a well made 50. A score of 163 should not be a lot for the Kings XI Punjab, on a fairly good wicket.
