IPL 2017: Royal Challengers Bangalore teammates Virat Kohli, Shane Watson spotted having fun at skippers’ new restaurant

Shane Watson recently expressed his feeling after his poor performance in Indian Premier League 2017 for Virat Kohli-led Royal Challengers Bangalore

Shane Watson has had a tough time in Indian Premier League (IPL) 2017 as he has not been able to prove his worth as a star all-rounder for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). Watson termed this season as ‘worst ever’ of the tournament as he could not perform with bat and ball. But, it seems like he is having a good time off the field having fun with his skipper Virat Kohli in his restaurant ‘NUEVA’. Watson recently posted a photo with Kohli outside the restaurant.

Watson’s Instagram post’s caption read, “Awesome night with Virat Kohli and Royal Challengers Bangalore teammates at Virat’s new restaurant Nueva”. The Australian also went on to praise Kohli’s new restaurant by using hashtags beautiful food, beautiful atmosphere, chilling, class.

Kohli’s RCB has had one of their worst performance in IPL 2017 so far. They were the first one to get knocked out of the tournament playoffs contention. They are currently placed at the bottom of the table with only two wins in 13 games. They will be playing for pride in a dead rubber match against Delhi Daredevils (DD) and will be looking to end the season on a high.

Kohli had also posted a photo showing off his new restaurant during his time off due to his shoulder injury during Border-Gavaskar Trophy Test series against Australia earlier in 2017.

Watson also captained the side for the initial games. Watson could not do well with both bat and ball. He could only score 67 from 7 games with a disappointing strike rate of 90.74. In the bowling department, he has taken just 4 wickets and leaked runs at an economy rate of over 10 runs per over.
