The Indian Premier League (IPL) has always been a glamourous affair. Since the season one, Bollywood stars like Shah Rukh Khan, Priyanka Chopra, Hrithik Roshan and Deepika Padukone were seen performing. And like every year, even the 10th season of the IPL had a grand start at the Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium on Wednesday with the performance of Bollywood actress Amy Jackson.
However, the actress failed to impress the viewers. The grand event was expected to be extravagant, however it ends up being dull. Along with the stadium crowd, twitteratti was also disappointed with Amy’s performance. But this was not the end. So, this time IPL organisers have decided to have an individual opening ceremony for every venue, which means there are around 7 more performances left. Here we give you a glimpse of few performances that will restore your faith in IPL opening ceremony.
Riteish Deshmukh will step on the stage today at the Pune stadium, while Tiger Shroff will perform tomorrow in Rajkot. We are still looking for Riteish’s practice video, here’s a clip of Tiger’s rehearsal. We are sure he is going to entertain us with his dhamakedar steps. Check this out:

At Rajkot, music composers Sachin-Jigar will also perform. While talking to IANS, teh duo said, “We are putting together a carnival-like performance which we have never done before. We will be inculcating a lot of Gujarati culture and tradition in our act, which will be in sync with the spirit of this year’s IPL. We would also love to give a chance to local talent- musicians and dancers and be a part of our performance crew.”
