IPL 2017: Jayadev Unadkat bags a hat-trick, that has caught the attention of Twitter

Indian Premier League 2017, SRH v RPS: Unadkat picked up a hattrick and then if that was not good enough, he also bowled a maiden

The 25-year old from Porbandar has become a household name after he claimed a hat-trick to help RPS win over SRH in a crucial Indian Premier League encounter. Unadkat has also represented the country but he has never cemented his spot in the team. In fact he has also represented India in Tests but he has not got his maiden wicket. Today Sunrisers Hyderabad were taking on Rising Pune Supergiant in a crackling match, because the match was of high significance for both the teams.

RPS set 148 for SRH to chase. But when SRH started the chase, Ben Stokes picked up two wickets in one over to peg back SRH. Then Yuvraj Singh looked threatening but was nullified soon. But here is what caught the attention, Jayadev Unadkat was bowling the last over looking to keep SRH under 13 runs, he did that and how. Unadkat picked up a hattrick and then if that was not good enough, he also bowled a maiden. Yes, we are talking about a T20 match. Everything is possible. He has also given migraines to the selectors who will be selecting the team for the upcoming ICC Champions Trophy.

He was first spotted at the Duleep Sinh School of Cricket in Porbandar, where he impressed his coach Ram Odedra with his bowling action and ability to land the ball on the seam. He also becomes the third bowler to have bowled a last over maiden.
