Welcome to inUth’sl digital coverage of Indian Premier League (IPL) 2017’s Match 37 between Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad. It will be a contest between two evenly matched sides as the defending champions take on the table-toppers of the current season. Unlike the game between Kings XI Punjab (KXIP) and Delhi Daredevils (DD) which was one-sided after a few overs.
KKR have done everything right this season making their way to the top of the IPL 2017 Standings. They will be going up against a team who have been a bit patchy in this season but still lethal on every front of the game. SRH’s top order fired the last time they went up against KXIP at Mohali which is a good news for them. With David Warner, Shikhar Dhawan and Kane Williamson scoring well up the order they have nothing to fear. Yuvraj Singh too has been lethal at times and cannot be ignored at any point.
Bowling department of SRH is considered to be the most lethal lineup of the season consisting of Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Ashish Nehra and new found domestic talent, Sidharth Kaul. Afghan spinner Rashid Khan is fine form as well as he is one of the leading wicket-taker of the tournament.
On the other hand, KKR’s batting lineup has been doing wonders in almost every match. Gautam Gambhir’s gamble to bring Sunil Narine up the order has been working out for KKR. If Narine fails, Robin Uthappa rescues the side and scores a big inning and wins it for KKR. They have depth in the batting lineup as well with Sheldon Jackson in the side. They will surely have an upper hand going into the game. They will be looking to win the toss and elect to bowl first as they have been chasing well in this season.
