Indian premier League 2017, GL v RCB: The heavy-weight boss of the Royal Challengers Bangalore has finally been nabbed in London by Scotland Yard

The heavy-weight boss of the Royal Challengers Bangalore has finally been nabbed in London by Scotland Yard. Earlier, Vijay Mallya, Mallya fled to UK in March 2016 after being pursued in courts by banks seeking to recover about Rs 9,000 crore owed by his Kingfisher Airline. Today, RCB have a big match to play against the Gujarat Lions. They are already lagging right at the bottom of the pool table and then this happens, will this be a chest-blow to the Virat Kohli and Co..

Their big boss has over the years lived a life king-size. Virat Kohli has been his big brand he churns moolah from. A special court for Prevention of Money Laundering Act cases this month last year had been issued an NBW against Mallya. Earlier this year, a CBI had also court issued an NBW against the liquor baron-king in an IDBI loan default case.

RCB take on a formidable Gujarat Lions, but there will surely be tension in the RCB camp and one feels only a win can bring a respite to Vijay Mallya.

This is a video of Vijay Mallya having a ball with the RCB boys, which includes Virat Kohli, Chris Gayle and Yuvraj Singh.

As someone who is fairly well versed in matters of extradition, #VijayMallya‘s arrest in London is BIG. Shot in the arm for the government.
