Yuvraj Singh played a scintillating inning of 62 runs from 27 balls featuring 7 fours and 3 sixes but it was hairstyle which caught the eyes of commentator and former player Sanjay Manjrekar. When Yuvraj came on the stage in post-match presentation, Manjrekar started the presentation saying, “I have to start with your hairstyle tonight, if you don’t mind. This is interesting, something new?
Yuvraj had a witty answer to Manjrekar’s question as he said, “Every IPL you gotta bring something new. I think you learn from the youngsters. So, again hopefully it works well for me.”
Manjrekar did not just stop there as he compliments Yuvraj, he said, “You have outdone Shikhar Dhawan on the style quotient for sure.” To this Yuvraj replied, “Naah! Gabbar (Dhawan’s nickname) is very famous in Hyderabad, I will take the second stage.”

Yuvraj gave Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) off to a flier despite skipper David Warner falling early against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) bowlers. He took the pressure off Shikhar Dhawan who himself got off to a flier and scored 40 runs.
Yuvraj shared a 29-ball 38 run partnership with Aussie all-rounder Moises Henriques who scored a fifty himself. Yuvraj took the ultimate revenge to English bowler Tymal Mills who got him out in the India vs England T20 series with his slower ball.
Yuvraj took on the bowlers and scored his fastest IPL century off 23 balls. Yuvraj’s innings helped his team post a gigantic total of 207 for 4 which turned out to be too good for RCB as they lost the game by 35 runs.
