South Africa captain Faf du Plessis, who didn’t get to feature in the two games that the Chennai Super Kings franchise played due to the side strain and fractured finger, on April 11 turned cook for his teammates.
CSK’s Harbhajan Singh shared a video on his Twitter handle and captioned it as “New chef”. In the video, Harbhajan introduced Du Plessis as a new chef and he can be seen cooking ‘lamb’.
Besides Harbhajan and Du Plessis, CSK coach Stephen Fleming was also there in the video.

Earlier, during CSK’s match with Kolkata Knight Riders at the MA Chidambaram Stadium in Chennai on April 10, a shoe was thrown at CSK players. Fortunately for Ravindra Jadeja, the shoe missed him as Du Plessis and Lungi Ngidi were walking near the boundary rope.
Protesters throwed shoe on faf du plessis doesn’t solve their problems infact its letting them down,Is becoz of this foreign players People’s from their respective nation watch our IPL and faf is one of the best player in world.

Meanwhile, South Africa captain is expected to be ready for the game in Mohali on 15 April vs Kings XI Punjab.
“I believe Faf is not in full training at the moment. He is recovering from a slight side strain. And he also has a small fracture in one of his fingers. He is going to be ramping up his training in the next seven days. He is hopeful of being available for selection in the next game against Mohali”, CSK batting coach Michael Hussey said.
Du Plessis was retained by CSK at Rs 1.60 Crore using their ‘Right To Match’ card during this year’s players’ auction. MS Dhoni-led CSK, who made a comeback into IPL after a two-year ban, is leading the points tally with two victories under their belt.
