It seems like Royal Challengers Bangalore’s (RCB) 12th player was skipper Virat Kohli’s wife and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma. After a loss against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), RCB desperately needed a win to boost their chances and that too playing at their homeground. Anushka was seen cheering from the stands during the match.
Though it was when Marcus Stoinis got bowled by Washington that she stood up and cheered in an animated manner. Kohli was seen blushing after seeing Anushka’s reaction from the stands. Even when Kohli took the catch to dismiss Andrew Tye he smiled at Anushka as she cheered from the stands.

It was Umesh Yadav who ignited the fire with his fiery spell in the powerplay overs. He got the wicket of Mayank Agarwal, Aaron Finch and Yuvraj Singh in a single over and pushed KXIP on the back foot. The fast bowler’s hairstyle too created a buzz as it has resemblance to Real Madrid football star Gareth Bale.

After KL Rahul’s wicket, KXIP suffered a batting collapse as Karun Nair and Stoinis followed. Rahul gave his ex franchise a scare in the powerplay overs by going after Chris Woakes and hitting the ball all around the park. The opener scored 47 runs off 30 deliveries including 2 fours and 4 sixes.
