Virat Kohli’s wife and Bollywood actress Anushka Sharma cheering from the stands at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium ruled Twitter on Friday. The photos of her cheering in an animated manner after Marcus Stoinis’ wicket and Kohli looking towards Anushka after taking Andrew Tye’s catch went viral. The Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) got off to a good start with the bat as well as he struck a few boundaries in his innings.
However, Afghanistan’s new bowling sensation 17-year-old Mujeeb Ur Rahman made Kohli’s stay at the crease short. Mujeeb got Kohli’s wicket in the 5th over deceiving him with a googly coming into the stumps from outside the off stump. The 29-year-old was disappointed after losing his wicket early into the powerplay overs as RCB had already lost opener Brendon McCullum for a golden duck.
