Mumbai Indians (MI) skipper Rohit Sharma ended the Indian Premier League (IPL) season 2018 on a sad note as he registered an unwanted record to his name. In 14 games in IPL 2018, Rohit could only manage to score 286 runs. This was for the first time that an MI skipper has failed to score 300 runs in an IPL season.
Earlier, Mumbai crashed out from IPL 2018 as they lost the must-win battle against Delhi Daredevils (DD) at the Ferozshah Kotla Stadium in New Delhi.
So close yet so far. Ben Cutting’s incredible fightback goes in vain as we fall 11 runs short in New Delhi. #CricketMeriJaan #DDvMI #MumbaiIndians pic.twitter.com/dHaSMIu2Ne

For MI, Evin Lewis top-scored with 48 runs off 31 balls, including three fours and four sixes. Hardik Pandya (27 off 17) and Ben Cutting (37 off 20) also tried to take MI home but failed in the end.
