Jasprit Bumrah is world’s No.1 ODI bowler. No two ways about it.
And years of bowling yorkers in Indian Premier League (IPL) for Mumbai Indians (MI) has made him one of the most reliable T20 bowlers in the world too. His death bowling will be Virat Kohli’s one of the most prized possessions when India face Australia in the first T20I at the Gabba on November 21.
Recently, Board of Control of Cricket in India (BCCI) Twitter handle posted a video of Bumrah having a crack at the bowlers in the practice session. Here’s the video that has got the attention of many:

In England, team India was exposed as soon as middle order failed. The tailenders did not have enough firepower to add few valuable runs towards the end. Bhuvneshwar Kumar can bat but it has been expressed that there is a need for tailenders to contribute in case things go south. Maybe that’s why Bumrah was batting in the nets.
The 24-year-old has batted in 6 innings out 37 T20Is he has played. Out of those, he has managed to hit just one boundary. In T20 cricket including leagues and domestic cricket, Bumrah has struck 3 sixes. The statistics speak for themselves. Nevertheless, a few lucky blows towards the end will only help India. Runs are runs, right? In whichever manner they may come.
