Sunrisers Hyderabad won the toss and opted to bat, surprising, but it seems David Warner is confident about his teams abilities. Kane Williamson is back and he will bolster the batting line up of SRH. David Warner departed early, off a top-edge, Amit Mishra completed a tricky catch for 4. That is when Kane Williamson walked out to the middle. Soon, Dhawan and Williamson found the going not so good as the bowling was kept tight. The duo was also having problems in running between the wickets. But then once Williamson got fairly settled he broke the shackles with back-to-back sixes. At the end of ten overs, they were 80/1.
Williamson finally reached his fifty in the 12th over. The two got 100 runs partnership in the 13th over and then Williamson suddenly went to top gear taking on Amit Mishra. Cummins conceded 37 runs in 4 overs, without picking up a wicket. Kane Williamson’s innings finally ended on 89, Morris got the better of him. Morris then stepped it up, he got Dhawan and Yuvraj of consecutive balls and was on a hat-trick, well that did not happen, thanks to Deepak Hooda. Dhawan was dismissed for 70 off 50 balls.
