Sri Lanka is 359 for 9 at stumps on Day 3. Sri Lanka trail by 180 runs with 1 wicket remaining in the 1st innings. Ashwin was the pick of the Indian bowlers as he scalped 3 wickets. Jadeja, Shami and Ishant picked up 2 wickets apiece.
For Sri Lanka, it is about picking up wickets and bundling out the hosts to have a realistic chance to press for an improbable victory. For India, it is about getting the last wicket and then bat two sessions, get as many runs as possible and then declare creating an opportunity to get 10 wickets of the visitors to win the Test.
