The former England skipper, Michael Vaughan, seems to be living in a parallel universe. Vaughan was quick to criticise India after the team was bundled out for a lowly score of 92 against New Zealand in fourth ODI. He was also quick to take a dig at Australian players when Joe Burns scored a century after a drought of centuries at home. But he tried to play down England’s failure against Windies in first Test, after they were bowled out for 77.
Here’s what he tweeted after India’s batting order collapse in Hamilton yesterday,
92 all out India … Can’t believe any team would get bowled out for under a 100 these days !!!!!!

The replies were exactly what you must have been thinking after reading 44-year-old’s tweet:
Can’t believe any can bowlout on 77 this days..

77 all out.. Can’t believe any team would get bowled out for under 80 runs these days..that too against the team which struggled a lot in recent past in test format.. #JustMichaelvaughanthings

Just some days back, England got all out for 77 against 8th ranked side in the world. At that moment you thought the same Mr. Michael?

Some may have felt that it was a sarcastic comment from Vaughan but the dig at the Australians didn’t seem like sarcasm at all,
BREAKING NEWS … An Australian has scored a TEST century … !!
— Michael Vaughan (@MichaelVaughan) February 1, 2019
None of the Australian batsmen were able to score a century against India in the five-match Test series. But the second Test against Sri Lanka has already witnessed two centuries. However, on the other hand, England batsmen don’t look like scoring a century on Caribbean pitches. Twitter once again called out Vaughan’s hypocritical comments and trolled him:
Breaking news. England got past 100 against West Indies in the first innings

Just 87 short of the entire English team on the same day.

So you are telling me that one Australian batsman scored more than 11 Englishmen did last week vs the lowly West Indies ?
