Immense love and an overwhelming response, almost always, has ensured that Chris Gayle’s trip to India is something that he eagerly awaits. And when the big Jamaican returned, this time, he planned it in a princely manner.
Riding a chariot, the West-Indies all-rounder visited Velammal School in Tamil Nadu where his fans made him feel no less than a Bollywood superstar with the reception that he got.
Gayle, who has been roped in by the Tamil Nadu Premier League (TNPL) association to promote the cricket league, visited the school on Tuesday and interacted with students.
His fellow West Indies teammate, Dwayne Bravo, who represented Chennai Super Kings before the team got suspended for two years, also took the opportunity to be back in town and promote the game.
The ‘Champion’ singer visited Stella Maris College where he made his fans dance to his song.
