Praneet looked in no mood to lose it easily. He gave a tough fight midway and the score was then levelled at 16-16. Later, he saved 3 game points and took the game to 20-20. The game was getting much interesting when it stretched till 23-23. But Srikanth was lucky enough to clinch the set and won the game by 25-23.
The level of excitement and thrill continued in the second set as well. However, this time again Praneet kept the lead right from the beginning. But he once again pulled the game up and dragged the score from 1-4 to 4-4.
