Bronze medalist wrestler Sakshi Malik announces her wedding date!

The invitation has been sent to many big names including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, PV Sindhu and Sachin Tendulkar

She has made the entire country proud by winning a Bronze Medal in the Rio Olympics 2016 in wrestling and soon, she could be listening to the wedding bells ringing. The lady wrestler from Haryana, Sakshi Malik is going to tie the knots with her fiance Satyawart Kadian. In October 2016, this wrestler couple got engaged and now before getting married, Sakshi has chosen a unique way to announce her wedding date.

Sakshi took to her Facebook account and shared a picture posted by his fiance Satyawart in which she could be seen him where they are holding a slate on which it’s written, “Save the date, 02.04.2017.”

The marriage function is scheduled to take place in Rohtak, while the bride herself is pretty excited about the forthcoming special event in her life. According to several media reports, the bride’s costume has been designed by the renowned fashion designer Sabyasachi. The invitation has been sent to many big names, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi, PV Sindhu and Sachin Tendulkar.

22-year-old Satyawart is a year older than Sakshi and is a wrestler. He trains at his father’s akhara in Rohtak. In 2010 Youth Olympics, he won his first bronze medal and later bagged several more honours in the game of wrestling. Sakshi and Satyawart came close to each other during wrestling tournaments.

Sakshi has always been praising his fiance whenever she has been asked about him. When she returned to India after winning the bronze in Rio, she had hailed Satyawart for supporting her career. She was heard saying, “He is very supportive and thinks of my dreams as his own.”
