PV Sindhu is on a song in the ongoing Indian Open Super Series 2017 and the only hope for the Indian Contingent as she reaches the finals of the tournament. Sindhu won the semi-final against the South Korean veteran shuttler by 21-18, 14-21 and 21-14. It was a whole-hearted effort from India’s Rio Olympics 2016 silver-medallist. She fought valiantly even after losing the second set quite comprehensively.
Sindhu’s judgement was spot-on as she reached the third game, she took a lead of 4 points straight away from where Hyun could not make a comeback into the game. She attacked right from the front and her deft touches on the nets were a joy to watch. She used her height to utmost effect reaching out for the wide-smashed shuttle and diving in to save every single point.

It was a game filled with passion for Sindhu as she screamed whenever she made a comeback into the game. The crowd too helped her with chants, cheering her up when Hyun narrowed down the deficit.
