Former WWE star Glenn Jacobs, popularly known as Kane, has been elected mayor of Knox County in Tennessee.
Former world champion got 31,739 votes in comparison to Democratic candidate Linda Haneyto 16,611.
The 51-year-old Republican candidate has now become Knox County’s 29th mayor. Jacobs will be sworn in as mayor on 1 September.
According to a report in independent.co.uk, Jacobs fought election on promises like tax cuts along with improvements to education and infrastructure.
The news spread like wildfire on Twitter as all his fans are congratulating Kane for his victory while there are few who are demanding The Undertakar to be the ‘President’.
