Indian opener Ajinkya Rahane has made obvious his intentions. He has said that India’s aim is to dominate the series. He said the batsmen have the aim to dominate their “inexperienced” spin-bowling. The Indian team has identified the chinks in the armour of the England team. Ajinkya Rahane has said that that England had some good batsmen in their line-up. However, their spin bowlers were new and inexperienced.
“We want to dominate the series. We have been playing some very good cricket over the last one and a half years. It’s important for us to be consistent. Yes our aim will be to dominate all their bowlers and the more we do it the better. It’s (also) important to start well in Rajkot and continue the momentum,” PTI quoted him as saying.

Indian team has reached Rajkot and is leaving no stones unturned to avenge the series loss against England in 2012-2013. Indian players were seen sweating it out at nets. While Cheteshwar Pujara was seen practising catches at slips, Gautam Gambhir and Ajinkya Rahane were involved in stroke-play at the nets. Ishant Sharma was also seen bowling in full flow. The team appeared in fine touch and determined to defeat England.

Team India will play England in the First Test of the five-match series in Rajkot from November 9. England team’s captain Alaistair Cook has already admitted that they were the underdogs. And the Indian team is determined to reduce them to what they think about themselves.
India are in a fine form after they defeated New Zealand 3-0 last month. Indian spinners R Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja were the key tormentors of the Kiwis. And it is expected that the England batsmen will also face the heat when world’s deadliest spin combo will put those extra revs at the ball. India will win for sure. The question is, would India will be able to effect a 5-0 series whitewash?
