Not once or twice but time and again Virender Sehwag has shown his class on Twitter. The King of trolls surely knows how to make someone’s birthday special. If you have second thoughts, then his latest birthday message for Warner is a prime example. His witty one-liners and puns are ought to bring a smile.
As David Warner turned 3o today, he would have been flooded with wishes from all around. But Sehwag’s special tweet is something that he will remember forever. The Nawab of Najafgarh tweeted, “Happy Bday @davidwarner31. After having the legend Warne, now Aus have Warner. When is Warnest coming? Also, no warning given by both greats.”
Using his imagination, Sehwag tried to play on the left-handed batsman’s surname by linking it with English grammar. Read Warne, Warner and Warnest like you would read best, better and bestest while practising adjectives superlatives. 38-year-old Sehwag celebrated his birthday a week ago on October 20. Sehwag and Warner have represented Delhi Daredevils in the initial seasons of the Indian Premier League. Both are known for their abilities to freely dominate any opposition. Virender Sehwag has retired from all formats of the game while Warner continues to showcase his talent.
In his previous wish to Jimmy Anderson, Sehwag posted that he must have made Anderson family proud as before him the only Anderson popular was Pamela. “Happy BdayJames Anderson @jimmy9. Before u most popular Anderson here was Pamela Anderson. #ModernDayGreat,” read the tweet. While greeting Jonty Rhodes, Sehwag drew an analogy between the South African and the game of ‘Chidiya Ud’. “Hpy Bdy @JontyRhodes8 who while fielding gt confusd&literally playd’Chidiya Ud'(Bird Fly) #HumansCanFly#UdanKhatola,” read the tweet.
On another instance, he gave Kiwi all-rounder Jacob Oram the status of lord Ram. “O Ram Ji,ur bowling seemed like someone bowling from 2nd floor. Happy Bday Jacob Oram! Mera piya ghar aaya ORamJi!.” Well that’s Viru for you! We hope that he continues to bring a smile to his fans on social media.
Happy Bday @davidwarner31 .
