It seems that Indian cricketer Mohammad Shami has again come in the line of fire of Twitterati’s trollers after he uploaded a picture of him and his family in Sri Lanka. The Indian cricket team led by Virat Kohli recently thrashed hosts Sri Lanka, 3-0. They are on a break, as they will take on Sri Lanka in a 5-match One Day International series starting 20th August.
Mohammed Shami showed a solid form after he decimated the Sri Lankan top order with the new cherry and is expected to play a big role in the blues as well. Mohammed Shami took to Twitter to share his picture with his family. The picture was captioned, ” Goodmorning everyone Travel time to India good luck team India upcoming series.” To this, a Tweep predicted, that a ‘fatwa’ was on its way. This is not the first time that he has been the brunt of jokes and trolls on social media.
Apparently, this is what Indian cricketer Mohammed Shami posted.

The post has already been taken off, though we were able to capture the screenshots. Seems like the deletions come as a warning from Shami.
Here are the tweets that were taken as screenshots.
Most of the tweets were healthy and positive, but the one in which the mention of ‘fatwa’ appears out of the blue and is quite unexpected.
Virat Kohli recently came at Abhinav Mukund’s defence after a person called him ‘black’ on the social platform. The entire Indian team stood in unison for the cricketer. Only time will tell if Virat Kohli takes the same stand for Shami and gives it back to the troll or not.
