CK Vineeth is not just an everyday footballer. He is a legend of sorts in his home state of Kerala as well as in the rest of south India. The 29-year-old has played for India and has been an India Super League veteran. He usually plays as a midfielder but is never shy of attacking when given the opportunity. The versatile footballer also plays fullback with as much ease.

CK Vineeth surprised everyone by writing ‘NIL’ on the birth certificate of his newborn son, where it was asked to mention the baby’s religion. This move is appreciated by one and all on Twitter as his fans praised the footballer’s decision of exercising his ‘freedom of religion’.
