Indian skipper Virat Kohli’s wedding created a strong buzz in December 2017 with photos and videos from his wedding to Anushka Sharma going viral. But it seems his fans in South Africa have still not gotten over it. Virat Kohli was fielding on the boundary in the second ODI between India and South Africa at SuperSport Park, Centurion. During the over, the camera panned to Kohli and in the background, fans had put up a poster of him with wife Anushka Sharma.
On seeing this, Kohli acknowledged the crowd behind him but it was clear that he was a bit embarrassed about it and did not turn again. The poster had ‘shaadi mubarak’ written all over it.
Here’s the video of the funny incident –

It was an excellent outing for India in the second ODI as they thrashed their opposition, making it a forgettable day for stand-in captain Aiden Markram. South African batting line-up were torn to shreds by Indian skippers, especially Yuzvendra Chahal who delivered his career-best ODI performance by taking 5 wickets for just 22 runs.
The hosts were bundled out for 118 with 104 balls to go. India had a convincing win as they chased down the target easily with 177 balls to spare. Though that was not the only highlight of the day. The umpires stopped the match for lunch with just 2 runs for India to chase. Former cricketers too were confused as they could not understand the reason for the delay.
Kohli missed out on his half-century by mere 2 runs. Shikhar Dhawan got back in form. The left-handed batsman scored his 24th ODI fifty.
