Virender Sehwag seems to have carried his form with the bat on to the social media platform. We mean the quick pace at which he scored runs, he is scoring fans at the same rate. Yes, the frantic Twitterati recently breached the 11 mn-mark on Twitter. Former Indian opener Virender Sehwag also holds the record for scoring two triple hundreds in Tests for India, a feat others have only dreamed off.
Earlier, Virender Sehwag had applied for the post of the team India coach, where he narrowly lost out to Ravi Shastri. But that has not bogged him down, as he took to Twitter to thank his umpteen fans on providing him all the love, since the days when he represented the country. He has played 104 Tests and 251 One Day Internationals and scored 8586 and 8273 runs respectively. Sehwag’s fruitful and memorable career spanned more than one-and-a-half-decade. He has also scored a double hundred in ODI’s, which is staggering. He is also the only batsman in the history of the game to reach 300 with a six, a thing only he can do.
Sehwag took to Twitter where he wrote, “My gratitude to all 11 Million of you wonderful people for your love. Loving the raftaar . Thank you !”
Have you seen him use the word ‘raftaar’, which means speed. Probably something that synonymous to him.

Yet, he lags behind in this platform as Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli are way in front of him with 28 mn and 35 mn respectively.
