This is perhaps the most embarrassing way a Tennis player has lost a match. A tennis player named Kiki Bertens lost an IPTL match by missing a serve on the match point. The ball dropped on her as she missed it completely. The video has gone viral.

The Dutch player looked completely distraught after losing the match. But she took it in good humour as she tweeted the blooper with a funny caption.

25-year-old Bertens had reached WTA rankings 21 in July 2016. She had reached the highest doubles rankings, 36 in June 2016. This is clearly not the way a player reaches number 1 ranking. It is time to hit the tennis court, Kiki.
