India’s ODI skipper Mithali Raj has a great idea for fans who feel bored after the recently concluded Indian Premier League (IPL) 2018. The comeback season of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) met a fairytale end as they lifted the trophy for the third time. But the end of the 11th season of the cash-rich tournament has left a void in the lives of Indian cricket fans who are longing for some sports action.

Women Asia Cup T20 2018 will kick off on June 3. India will take on Malaysia in the opening match at Kinrary Academy, Kuala Lumpur. The league matches will be played every day whereas the final will be played on June 10. A total of 19 matches will be played in a span of a week. India, Malaysia, Bangladesh Sri Lanka, Thailand, Pakistan will be taking part in the event. Harmanpreet Kaur will be leading Team India.

June 3 – India vs Malaysia
June 4 – India vs Thailand
June 6 – India vs Bangladesh
June 7 – India vs Sri Lanka
June 9 – India vs Pakistan
The Indian women’s team recently got to play T20I cricket in the form of IPL Women T20 Challenge which also featured 10 international players like Ellyse Perry, Suzie Bates, Danielle Wyatt etc.

Mithali scored 22 for Harmanpreet-led Supernovas against Smriti Mandhana-led Trailblazers. Asia Cup T20 will give them a chance to dominate cricket in Asia. They were the runner-ups of World Cup 2017 in England and enter the tournament as favourites.
