The mystery surrounding the notorious Bermuda Triangle has for long grabbed the fancy of people around the globe. People from all walks of life, including scientists, conspiracy theorists and science fanatics, have tried to explain the possible reasons that have made the ships and the airplanes disappear. From alien abduction to Earth’s strong gravitational pull, every theory suggested so far has unarguably failed to satisfy the lust of those who reason with logic and demand proof.
The latest theory that tried to explain the inexplicable mystery comprised of hexagonal clouds that appear near the ‘deadly triangle’. And the root of all confusion lies in a video series promoted by the Science Channel called “What’s on Earth?”.
Apparently, the website aired an episode in May this year suggesting that the strange clouds formed over the Bahamas were responsible for the disappearances in the triangular region between Miami, Bermuda and Puerto Rico. Here’s what the video suggested:
Thus, the mystery behind the Bermuda triangle is solved!
While all of this is true, it’s important to note that meteorologists contacted by the website- Dr Randy Cerveny of Arizona State University and Dr Steve Miller of the Colorado State University nowhere said that the phenomenon in the North Sea caused the mysterious disappearances in the Bermuda Triangle region.
Furthermore, geography plays a key role in determining the impact of meteorological phenomenon like the formation of waves, speed of wind and weather conditions. The geological conditions near the North Sea are completely different from that of the Bermuda Triangle, making the latest theory a complete hoax!
