GUYS! Did you know Bollywood actor Aditi Rao Hydari sings like a dream, or are we the only ones who have woken up late to this amazing phenomenon? Probably just us, no? Never mind, the fun bit is that we have and it has indeed been a revelation. To promote Mani Ratnam’s Kaatru Veliyidai which releases today, the main lead of the film Aditi and Karthi attended reality show, Super Singer Junior.
Engaging in easy conversation with two tiny contestants on the show Sanjini and Pallavi, Aditi effortlessly did a rendition of Shreya Ghoshal’s hit number Saas from Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma and Katrina Kaif’s Jab Tak Hain Jaan.

That film may not have worked wonders at the box office, but AR Rahman’s music and Gulzar’s lyrics have a magic that’s beyond the verdict of collections. A difficult high-pitched song to master on any given day but not only did Aditi sing it, she also gave the girls a mini-tutorial.
And if you thought that was it, you obviously thought wrong. Aditi and Karthik each sang a song with Aditi picking Vaan Varuvaan, a song from their upcoming film. Sung by Shashaa Tirupati and music by the inimitable AR Rahman, the slow melodious number sounds like a keeper. Add to this Aditi’s dulcet singing, and you have a winner. Don’t believe us?
