There’s a new Netflix documentary series that is taking the internet by storm, and Indians should definitely know about it.
There are fantasy shows about dragons, drug dealers and psychedelic cinema available on the web, but we guarantee that the craziest thing on the Internet right now is Netflix’s Wild, Wild Country. A series that talks about the story of the Rajneeshpuram, a ‘spiritual’ community that turned into a sex cult and then into a radical group that took up arms to protect themselves under their leader Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh, in the 80s. It narrates the true story of a Rolls-Royce-driving Indian guru who wanted to form a spiritually enlightened city but ended up orchestrating the largest bioterror attack on US soil. The saga has a generous dose of voting fraud, orgies, bombings and attempted assassinations and things keep getting weirder in the docu-series.
Obviously, the show has seen widespread reaction from people who clearly have a lot of things to say. Including quite a few Sheila Ki Jawani jokes. Check out some hilarious things people tweeted out after watching the show-
I have so many questions about Wild wild country. How did we not know about this? How did the director get this much footage? Are Shanti B and Jazzy B related?

Liked Wild Wild Country for many reasons, not least of which was the incredible music. What a seriously well-curated bunch of songs.
