Google Photos just hit the 500 million mark and it is celebrating its feat by introducing funky new ways of sharing photos on its platform. The social media app has added three new features– Suggested Sharing, that uses machine learning technology to suggest the images you should share with your family and friends; Shared Libraries, that lets you share your entire photo library with your friends; and Photo Books which are physical photo albums exclusively printed by Google.

Shared Libraries
Shared Libraries is just like sharing an entire album with your friends. With this new feature, users can send and receive photos effortlessly. You can also give your friends full access to your photo library. “When they share their library with you, you can automatically save the photos you want so they also show up in search and in the movies, collages and other fun creations Google Photos makes for you,” Google wrote in a blog post.

Suggested Sharing
Sharing images has never been an easy task. From selecting the right images to selecting the people you have to share images with, sharing photos can be tedious. But not anymore as Google Photos has introduced a brand new way that uses machine learning to automatically select the right images and suggest the people you should share them with based on the people in the photographs.
Photo Books
Printed photo albums will never lose their charm. There is something special about the printed photo albums that transports us to our fond memories. Tech giant Google recognises this. The company is rolling out photo books that capture your fondest memories in a printed photo album. All you need to do is select your picks and place your order.
“Photo books are rolling out today in the US on the web, and on Android and iOS next week, starting at just $9.99 for a 20-page softcover book and $19.99 for a hardcover book. We’ll bring photo books to more countries soon,” Google added.
