Samsung is all set to launch its flagship Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro at an event in China later today. However, hours ahead of its launch the smartphone has been listed on a major Chinese online retailer T-Mall. The retailer has not only leaked the images of the phone but also spilt beans about its specifications. The phone though is not available for purchase yet.
According to the specifications listed on the website, the dual-SIM (nano + nano) Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro is powered by an Octa-core Snapdragon 653 processor (quad 1.95GHz ARM A72 + quad 1.44GHz A53 CPU) and Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. The 4G enabled phone comes with 6GB RAM and 64GB internal memory, which is expandable up to 256GB.
C9 Pro has a 6-inch full HD AMOLED display with a fingerprint sensor on its home button. It features 4000mAh fast charging battery and has 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, NFC, Bluetooth, USB-C and ANT+ for connectivity. However, the most noteworthy feature of Samsung’s latest smartphone is its powerful camera. Samsung Galaxy C9 Pro comes with a 16MP rear camera with f/1.9 aperture and a 16MP front camera.
Priced at 3199 Yuan (Rs 31,700 approx.), the phone is available in two colours- Gold and Rose Gold.
Though the phone will be launched in China today, there is no word on when it will be available for sales globally.
