Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) made India proud by becoming the first country to launch 104 satellites in a single flight. The organisation was applauded not just by the people within the country but also by the people outside. While the New York Times termed India a ‘key player’ in space-based surveillance, BBC hailed ISRO’s achievement saying the launch was a sign that ‘India was emerging as a major player in the multi-billion dollar space market’.
Even the Chinese daily, Global Times praised India’s space research organisation saying that it had done a ‘good job’.
And the latest to join the band waggon is our beloved tech visionary and Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who has showered praise for ISRO’s achievement. Elon Musk or ‘Irony Man’ as he likes to call himself, said that ISRO’s feat was ‘awesome’.
Replying to a tweet that asked for his comment on ISRO’s record-breaking performance, Musk tweeted- “@Floydilicious Yeah, awesome achievement by ISRO. Very impressive!.”
