If you thought that NASA is all about the hi-tech space gizmos, search for alien life and the great beyond, you might wanna reconsider. Coz America’s geeky space research organisation is just as cool. And if you’re scratching your heads how this dorky organisation has suddenly transformed into something all hip, then here’s a clue.
In order to make space-tech all fun and zippy, NASA has debuted on popular image-sharing platform Pinterest and GIPHY. Yay!
“NASA now is sharing its best images on official Pinterest and GIPHY accounts, providing visitors an out-of-this-world journey through animated GIFs and images of Earth and beyond,” the organisation wrote.
NASA’s has once again opened its vault of vast archives for the public and it’s everything that a science nerd could hope for. Its page on GIPHY contains over 400 gifs ranging from its space missions and space imagery to the unforgettable moments in the history of space flights and the funny reaction of the scientists, while the Pins on Pinterest, display its gigantic collection of historic images and videos.
What’s more? You can even embed these images and gifs directly into your tweets thanks to Twitter’s API integration.
